  16. In any case, I'm most pleased with PC-Cache from Central Point's PC-Tools here.
  17. I'm using version 6.0, while 7.01 is the latest, but it's impressive. It can use
  18. extended, expanded and conventional memory, and if I ever use the machine
  19. without the cache, it's remarkably slower on disk access.

  21. On the other hand, it's commercial, while there's good shareware packages like
  22. HyperDisk around. I believe HyperDisk has hotkeys to turn off the cache, turn
  23. off delayed writes etc. Not sure though.
