- Geez, I hope this gets posted because most universal posts never work for me.
- But anyways, this happened to me also when I set my modem to com4. I have
- an Orchid 1280 and I'm not sure if it's true for all Windows accelerators,
- but mine doesn't allow me to use com4 because of Orchid. I just disable my
- com2 (external serial) and use com2 for my internal modem. This way, I
- don't have to share IRQ4 with com1 (external serial for my mouse) and I can
- play games while I download stupid files off the net. Although I do sometimes
- get "UART error" occasionally, well, more like 25% of the time for super
- long downloads using zmodem, evertime I move the mouse. (If anyone know of
- a way of fixing this, I would greatly appreciate it and you're great knowledge
- will be shown all over the world.)
