  12. I have a FTK RamJet memory expansion board with 2 Mbytes installed.
  13. The printer is a HP LaserJet III printer.
  14. After powered on, if doing a test printout, the printer reports 3Mbytes
  15. of memory.This is normal (1M internal + 2 external = 3Mbytes).
  16. Now if I choose PAGE PROTECT ON , the printer goes through a memory reconfi-
  17. guration and after comes the problem: 53 MEMORY ERROR!!!. Now a new test prin-
  18. tout reports only 1Mbyte of memory.
  19. Any explanations are welcome
