- Well, I have a question for all you SVGA guru's. I have need to invest in
- a new SVGA card, and I would like to get some oppinions. I want some sort
- of acceleration, support of 1280x1024 (don't really care about how many
- colors), and probably most importantly, compatibility (either now, or in
- the near future with OS/2). I am considering the Stealth, Speedstar 24X,
- Orchid, and a lot of cards in this range. I have also considered the
- ATI Ultra +, but wonder if it would really be worth it to me for what I will
- use this computer for (home applications, never anything as rigorous as
- say a CAD program), I just want a good card to display as fast as possible,
- for as cheap as possible (wow, does this guy want the world or what?).
- Well, any suggestions, comments, experiences, etc. via e-mail or post would
- be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanx again,
-
- Steve
