- Hi,
- I know it`s a drag to read these questions, so first off, thanks a lot
- for taking a look at this....
-
- I`m a technician at Ottawa University and a client want`s to install an
- IDE drive in a PC that already has an MFM and want`s to keep it as the
- second drive. The IDE is a Conner CP3000 and the MFM is a Seagate ST-241.
- The MFM controller is a Western Digital WD1006V-MM2.
- The problem is that in the references we have here, the WD1006V-MM2 is
- nothing like what I have. It`s a 3/4 lenght card, with a jumper block labled
- W1 with 8 pins horizontally 4 pins and vertically 2 pins. And a second set
- of pins of 2 wide (hor) and 3 high (vert) labled (from top to bottom) W3,
- W4 and W5. I can give a more detailed description if you need it.
-
-
- I AM SURE THIS QUESTION HAS BEEN ASKED BEFORE, AND IF THERE IS A FAQ
- I CAN GET SOMEWHERE, PLEASE DIRECT ME TO IT. THANKS.
-
- Please use e-mail as this group is very difficult to sort through.
-
- Thanks a lot for any help.
