  32. Man, you are fortunate.  I called ATI themselves and the loser I talked to could
  33. give me *NO* information about the cards.  From the picture of them in Computer
  34. Shopper, they look like Local Bus cards, and the article in Comp. Shopper said
  35. that ATI got around the bottleneck by using 32-bits.  But the Techie at ATI    
  36. basically said that he had no idea when they would be released, what bus types
  37. it would support, or anything.

  39. Are these beasties still going to be register-compatible with the 8514?  I am
  40. extremely interested in this card since I have used the Graphics Ultra and   
  41. really liked it, but I am delaying purchasing a computer just so I can use the 
  42. new ATI cards.
