- Hi World,
-
- I just bought a 386-40mhz (AMD) motherboard which has an AMI
- bios in it. I am upgrading my system from a 286..
-
- My problem, is after I put everything together..
- Upon boot up,
- I get
-
- "No ROM BASIC" :-((
-
- What did I do wrong??
- I have 1 3.5 floppy drive and an Adaptec 1542B controller
- with 1 SCSI Seagate hardisk..
- Everything is great until that..
-
- I called my dealer and they said I must alter the Advanced chipsetup
- and the advance CMOS setup ..
- & I have to send in the whole system, they charge $50 + s/h :-((
-
- Could someone on the net show me what to set? :-)
- Thanks..
-
- Please mail hho@usc.edu
- H.
