  13. Did anyone read the 'Upgrading your System' article in Sept. 1992
  14. issue of PC WORLD.  The author claims the Maxtor drive can be had for
  15. a street price of $250.  Is he on drugs?  Considering that the article
  16. must have been written 2-3 months ago, did he really mean $550 or
  17. $650?

  19. I paid $499 for mine in June and thought I got a good deal.  Now I see
  20. places selling them for $470 and $459, but I still believe I got a
  21. good deal *at the time*.  I can't believe that 2-3 months ago, even $450
  22. would have been attainable on the street.
