  17.     Anyone have a configuration of an adaptec 1542b and a soundblaster pro
  18.     in the same box? The 1542b has a conflict with the soundboard that
  19.     causes the machine to hang. If I pull the scsi board out of the machine
  20.     then the problem goes away. I've checked the IO port addresses, IRQ's
  21.     and DMA channels and they are different on the 2 cards. The hang can
  22.     be caused by just running the test program that came with the sb-pro
  23.     soundcard. I seem to remember a while back hearing something about the
  24.     bus mastering DMA on the 1542B and the DMA on the sound card not playing
  25.     well together.
