- I just got a 386/33 motherboard with AMI Bios. I installed 4 256K 60ns
- SIMM chips on the motherboard according to the motherboard manual.
- When I boot up the system, it only says I have 640K. Where did the
- other memory go? When I go into the setup screen, it says I have 640K
- with 0K expanded/extended. The person I got it from had originally
- gotten the board with the same chips I have (he upgraded to a 486 and
- had 8 megs on the 386 board I bought from him). I can use the system,
- but I can't load HIMEM.SYS and can't find the missing memory. Anyone
- with a suggestion/help please Email me. Thanks.
