- Hi, I'm thinking about buying a 486 board based on the ETEQ (sp?)
- chipset with an AMI bios. Has anyone had any bad experience with
- the ETEQ chipset (e.g., compatability/reliability)?
-
- The motherboard is a 486/33. Can I simply pop the existing CPU out
- and put in a 486/33 DX-2 (66MHz)? There are no other empty sockets
- on the board. The crystal is socketed however, and the board has
- jumpers on it which you can use to tell it if it is populated with
- a 33MHz crystal/CPU or a 50MHz cyrstal/CPU.
-
- Any comments appreciated...
