- This is my observation as well. My 386/40 runs very fast, but the speed makes
- it more playable with a joystick, not less.

- The speed means you can fire as fast as enemy ships. As well, the game never
- slows down just because there are more than 3 enemy ships.

- The joystick is absolutely necessary for WCII in my opinion. In WCI the
- keyboard was usable, not in WCII. Even on a 286-12 the keyboard is useless.
- If they hadn't added that "shift for hard forward, down, left..." it would be
- OK. There are enough keys as it is without having to hit shift.

- BTW: having WCII on a stackered drive with stacker only in convential RAM (dump
- the /EMS switch) seems to work fine.
