  26. This is my observation as well.  My 386/40 runs very fast, but the speed makes 
  27. it more playable with a joystick, not less.

  29. The speed means you can fire as fast as enemy ships.  As well, the game never
  30. slows down just because there are more than 3 enemy ships.

  32. The joystick is absolutely necessary for WCII in my opinion.  In WCI the 
  33. keyboard was usable, not in WCII.  Even on a 286-12 the keyboard is useless.
  34. If they hadn't added that "shift for hard forward, down, left..." it would be
  35. OK.  There are enough keys as it is without having to hit shift.

  37. BTW: having WCII on a stackered drive with stacker only in convential RAM (dump
  38. the /EMS switch) seems to work fine.
