- Hello !
-
- You have as well 2 solutions from HP:
-
- 1) so called 'viper' card - kind of one board HP computer, to plug in
- into PC. Advantage: 100 % compatible, real 2 task computer, runs as well
- on low-end PC.
-
- 2) Basic for WINDOWS: emulate most of HP-BASIC under MS-windows 3.1
- Pretty good, but: NOT 100 % HP-Basic (although only rarely used keywords
- missing), performance problem: use high-end PC ! ( + HP-IB card from
- HP). Keeps multitasking inherent in MS-Windows and DDE (data exchange)
- what may be useful.
-
- The second solution is clearly long-term run strategy.
- You can have a demo version of the Basic for WINDOWS from HP.
-
- I never work with Trans-Era product, sorry !
-
- Good luck !
- Andrew.
