- Um, I never said that NIS/YP was *secure*! I'm just saying that using a
- Sun (with access lists for ypserv based on IP address) is better than
- having no access control at all...

- Yes, PCs can change IP address at will. This is a general IP problem, not
- a problem with NIS/YP as such.

- I would love to have a better system than NIS/YP. Maybe OSF's DCE/DME is
- what I need - but I don't have that available *today*, for my heterogeneous
- Sun/HP network.
