- Are you using the default EDIT action (which with VUE 2.01 invokes
- vi)?

- This leads me to believe that you (or somebody else) has defined an
- EDIT action which runs an editor on a remote system. Is this true?
- Is the hostname in the message where you expect the editor to run?
-
- Assuming that you really are trying to get remote execution to work --
- is the remote system NFS mounted to the local system under
- /nfs/<hostname>? The local system needs to be able to access
- /nfs/<remote>/tmp for SPCD authentication.
-
- In addition the remote system will have to NFS mount the file system
- where the data file resides so that your editor can access it.
