  12. The question was: Can I connect a PC to a 3100 using Kermit?

  14. I'm afraid I don't know anything about Kermit, bu I have connected my 3100
  15. (running VMS, of course) to my PC using serial line IP (SLIP). The
  16. implementation of TCP/IP I am using on my 3100 (Multinet, from TGV software)
  17. provides the SLIP capability. The only catch was that I had to get a cable with
  18. a regular 32-pin connection on one end, and one of those telephone-style
  19. connections on the other end.
