- These lines appear on Sony Trinitrons. The manual which came with my
- VRT19 monitor says:
-
- "The Sony TRINITRON(R) color CRT used on this product provides improved
- brightness and color purity over conventional CRT's. You may notice two
- very faint horizontal lines across the screen when displaying full screen
- light colors. These are internal CRT mechanical supports. They are normal
- and not screen defects."
