  28. No: it is not the same as the line-doubling on the falcon cause
  29. what you describe is related to picture displaying and not to
  30. picture generation. That is: it's a monitor (or TV) trick but
  31. not a computer (or broadcasting) trick !

  33. The Falcon line-doubling, is just a kind of x2 zoom in y dimension
  34. and works only on correspondingly powerful monitors: that means all
  35. VGA monitors but surely not TV-sets !

  37. Your trick is a way to inhence TV-refresh rate, Falcon's is a way
  38. to use lower resolutions on too powerful monitors !
