- No: it is not the same as the line-doubling on the falcon cause
- what you describe is related to picture displaying and not to
- picture generation. That is: it's a monitor (or TV) trick but
- not a computer (or broadcasting) trick !

- The Falcon line-doubling, is just a kind of x2 zoom in y dimension
- and works only on correspondingly powerful monitors: that means all
- VGA monitors but surely not TV-sets !

- Your trick is a way to inhence TV-refresh rate, Falcon's is a way
- to use lower resolutions on too powerful monitors !
