- The color comes out on one pin of GTIA. I seem to recall an old article in
- Byte Magazine about using the GTIA's 4 lum outputs on a RGB monitor, but you
- had to do all your own screen output routines 'cause intensity was now color.
- Not sure, but I thinnk either National Semiconductor or Motorola has a
- composite to RGB chip. Never fooled around much with the video myself. It's
- Probably not a bad idea since composite monitors are getting harder to find
- & CGA monitors are everywhere. IMHO: Since the Byte thing didn't catch on,
- people probably want compatability with existing stuff over just being
- able to hook something up => Atari's stock output=> convertor (<$10) => IBM
- monitor.
- Anyway, if you just want where the sync, color, & lum signals come out so
- you can fool around, let me know & I'll get you the pin-outs.
