- I came to think of this when I read about Jonathan Katz's problem
- with colour on his Atari 800.
-
- Has there ever been an 8-bit Atari computer with three independent
- R/G/B outputs? (As opposed to composite video with the colours
- mixed in one single signal with sync.)
-
- I've always assumed that the CTIA/GTIA delivers the composite
- video on a single pin.
-
- The screen quality is highly improved on an Atari ST or Amiga
- if the computer is connected to a TV set via R/G/B instead of
- composite video or antenna/RF.
-
- It would be nice to get a clearer picture, even if the improvement
- would reveal how blocky some graphics modes on the 8-bit Atari are.
