  25. I needed some of these a month ago and posted a message looking for people
  26. who may have some spares laying around.  I received several responses, so
  27. there are still people out there that might be able to help you.  I'm
  28. assuming that you really only need one or two.

  34. Of course, you can only use the standard cards to get up to 48K.  If you
  35. need more than that, you need a card that is specially designed for that.
  36. (Actually, you can modify a standard 16K card to make a 256K card--I
  37. know of several people who have done it, but I don't have the information
  38. on how they did it.  It takes a lot of soldering, the 256K chips, and I
  39. think a few cheap controller chips.)

  41. Is anyone familiar with this upgrade technique?  I suppose someone could
  42. start a business where people mail in a 16K card with $$$ and you send them
  43. back a 256K card.
