  13. I have just aquired an Atari 800XL, with mods that make it look
  14. internally like a 130XE.  Everything seems to work pretty well, except
  15. for the 1050 disk drive that came with the system.  It appears to read
  16. and write things without much problem, but it can not format
  17. unformatted diskettes.

  19. A drive RPM diagnostic I have run tells me that the drive is spinning
  20. too fast, yet I don't see any obvious way to adjust the speed.  Can
  21. anyone tell me what I need to do?
