- I have just aquired an Atari 800XL, with mods that make it look
- internally like a 130XE. Everything seems to work pretty well, except
- for the 1050 disk drive that came with the system. It appears to read
- and write things without much problem, but it can not format
- unformatted diskettes.

- A drive RPM diagnostic I have run tells me that the drive is spinning
- too fast, yet I don't see any obvious way to adjust the speed. Can
- anyone tell me what I need to do?
