- I don't understand why you are having problems with WordPerfect -- do
- you have the most recent version? (they do support it enough to make
- sure you can get that and the most recent set of printer definitions.)
- I've been using it on a GS for years and have very few problems. There
- are a couple of bugs that you have to watch for, but once you know about
- them it is rock solid (for me). The main one I remember is that
- cut-and-paste doesn't work if what you are cutting/pasting includes one
- or more of a certain small set of the special codes -- I remember mostly
- headers/footers, and that's easy to get around. It could also be some
- of the NDA's you might have installed -- it doesn't seem to react very
- well to some of them, so I tend to avoid using them during a WP session
- (or make sure I've saved my files first.) Of course if all you have is
- an Imagewriter I think you are stuck with the printer's built-in fonts,
- since it doesn't use bit-mapped fonts or any other graphics.
