- Almost any 2400 external modem will work on a GS. A Mac to RS232 cable
- is just what you need. (At 2400 you don't even need to look for the
- special "high-speed" cables that do hardware handshaking.) If all you
- want is vt100, Ted Medin's kermit is free and does a super vt100
- emulation. (Your guy sounds sufficiently comptuer illiterate that he's
- not likely to use the kermit file transfer facilities, but if he does,
- they're there.)
