  14. Another (true!) story:  a few months ago we received a box from HP, about
  15. 12"x8"x2" with the ubiquitous padding and packing list that listed itself
  16. and the shipping materials, all just to send us a vi quick reference card!
  17. Which we had NOT asked for!

  19. But semi-seriously, doesn't this seem inappropriate in this age of
  20. environmental consciousness?  I mean, I'm not your stereotypical greenie,
  21. but the amount of shipping material we throw away from HP is obscene!!

  23. On a related note, isn't there some way to recycle or efficiently reuse
  24. all those HP LaserROM CDs?  At the very least, they could have the CEs
  25. collect them from us when they're out for a service call, and then at
  26. least reuse the jewel boxes...
