- Hi,
-
- Since we'll all know about AA in 8 days (;-D) but it'll be at the
- extreme top-end range, how do you think CBM will address the low-end
- competition? The A600 may have just dropped to ú299 but it's hardly
- technically brilliant. With relatively low cost, (although still kit-in-a-box)
- Falcons around and now Acorn release a 12MHz 6 Mips home Archimedes for
- ú499 inclusive, how will us Amigans at the low-end of the scale fair?
-
- Acorn have also significantly reduced price of the top range A5000
- so it looks a MUCH better deal than the reduced-price Amiga3000! :-|
-
- It may be all well and good to provide top-end gosh-wow kit, but
- I expect AA to be incompatible with anything less than Amiga3000, and I don't
- know either of the people in the UK who have one! :-)
