  17. Hadn't heard that.  Last word I heard on the grapevine was that NewTek will
  18. cease selling "Toaster Workstations" as soon as those currently in the
  19. pipeline are shipped.  Not sure what this means but it sounds as if NewTek
  20. is getting out of the business of selling Amigas altogether.

  26. I don't think that applies to this case.  Wasn't NewTek selling A2000s
  27. directly to customers?  Did they ever sell the "Toaster Workstations" to
  28. resellers?  Many manufacturers with weak products resent having stronger
  29. products demonstarted in the same viscinity as their products.  An A3000
  30. shown doing it's thing next to lesser machines, for eample.  Not too many
  31. Macs, clones, and Amigas are sold from a single computer store.  Come to
  32. think of it, I've never seen such a retail combo.  How come?  Because
  33. someone doesn't want that to happen.  I wonder who that could be?  ;-)
