  11. Hi Amiga users,

  13. I've some questions about connecting a PC hard disk drive to my Amiga.

  15. What i have:
  16.    Amiga 500 Rev.5 (bought in 1988) with Kickstart 1.2
  17.    0.5Mb internal memory expansion
  18.    3.5'' external disk drive
  19.    PC hard disk drive (MFM, 40Mb)
  20.  
  21. What i need:
  22.    Controller interface to hook the PC hard disk to the Amiga.
  23.    Kickstart 1.3 for booting from harddisk (don't want to boot from floppy anymore)
  24.    Power supply for the hard disk
  25.  
  26. My questions:
  27.    Does anyone have such a controller? (where can i get it?)
  28.    Has someone done this 'project' before?
  29.    Is it possible to use the PC power supply for both the harddisk and Amiga?

  31. I'm sure there're many people interested in this stuff, especially those 
  32. with less money for an A590 :)
