  10. I have a 40 MB Quantum drive that has decided to die on me.  The
  11. drive decided to quit writing.  I can read data most of the time
  12. with errors, but a write is basically ignored.  I was using this
  13. drive heavily for the last year or so(I got it used) with no problems
  14. and never an error or bad block.  
  15.  
  16. Does anyone know of a place where I can get this drive repaired?  I
  17. talked to Quantum and they want $150 to repair it(almost as much
  18. as the new drive I bought).  Has anyone gotten a drive repaird?
  19. Was it worth it?  If it is too much to repair, it may go the way
  20. of my first bad floppy disk and get "disassembled"....
