  11.   I have a XT IDE controller/adapter and a Seagate 40M IDE Harddisk currently
  12. installed in a XT clone. I would like to know if it would  be possible to use
  13. this controller and harddisk in an Amiga. I know there is a shareware project
  14. that allows an old MFM controller/harddisk to be used. My question is:can I use
  15. this IDE adapter in place of the MFM controller? Would it be necessary to write
  16. a new device driver?
  17.   Any help/opinion/info would be welcome.
