  13. I've been trying to install the 14 MHz hack in my Amiga
  14. 500 with rev 5 board and kickstart 1.3, but the machine
  15. won't boot with it. It starts flashing it's power LED
  16. at twice the speed it usually does (so at least the
  17. processor is ok, and runs 14 MHz, and the control to
  18. the CIAs is ok).
  19. Anyone know what might be going wrong?

  21. I figured that if this isn't going to work (damn! it's
  22. a rather expensive chip I've put in there...), then
  23. any accelerator I might buy will fail (after all,
  24. to the rest of the Amiga they only look as speeded-up
  25. 68000s. So if e.g. the Agnus can't handle the speed,
  26. it surely doesn't want a 68030 (or does that have
  27. a different bus clock?)
