- Hello,
-
- I've been trying to install the 14 MHz hack in my Amiga
- 500 with rev 5 board and kickstart 1.3, but the machine
- won't boot with it. It starts flashing it's power LED
- at twice the speed it usually does (so at least the
- processor is ok, and runs 14 MHz, and the control to
- the CIAs is ok).
- Anyone know what might be going wrong?
-
- I figured that if this isn't going to work (damn! it's
- a rather expensive chip I've put in there...), then
- any accelerator I might buy will fail (after all,
- to the rest of the Amiga they only look as speeded-up
- 68000s. So if e.g. the Agnus can't handle the speed,
- it surely doesn't want a 68030 (or does that have
- a different bus clock?)
-
- Please help,
-
- Louis
