- HST is made by only a single company, USR. V.32Bis modems can (and are)
- made by everyone. This (To myself anyways) is more of an issue than 'todays
- transfer speeds' (Considering that the V specs and the propriatary modems have
- been doing the Leap-Frog thing for a few years).

-
- FrontDoor and D'Bridge don't support any bi-directional protocols, only
- BinkleyTerm and OPUS (Using JANUS) do.
-
-
- BTW: There are about 3 different possible bi-directional protocols being
- looked into for Welmat (A network mailer that runs on the Amiga) with Janus being
- just one of them. A lower-overhead protocol will likely be more usefull
- for Welmat<-->Welmat sessions.
