  23. Probably you have destructive backspace on.  (Menu item Destructive BS under
  24. the Operations menu... hmm, sounds like the C= marketing division....)  Try
  25. turning that off, and it will probably fix your problem.

  27. (You will fix more problems if you stop using VI and get ahold of emacs, but
  28. that's a "whole nuther" issue.)
