  10. I am wondering if anyone would know the answer to this problem.

  12. I am trying to acess a great amiga database full of awesome stuff
  13. and I can do it virtually for free because I can go through my
  14. school, log onto a sun, and rlogin to the system server and do
  15. error free z-modem downloads.  It's a pretty awesome setup except 
  16. for these grad students who answer the phone everytime I dial in.
  17. I tried to get it accross to them, that when they don't hear
  18. anyone talking, it's probably a modem.  The modem isn't
  19. dedicated, so that stinks I guess.

  21. My problem is when I call my school maiframe, I am limited to
  22. using telnet to connect to the sun then to rlogin from there.
  23. When I download, I get tons of block sync errors because telnet
  24. is not 8-bit clean.  Is there anyway to get around this problem.
