- Greetings all. I'm running JR-Comm v1.02A (registered and eagerly awaiting the
- upgrade....) and I've been meaning to ask for the "best" settings to use for
- buffer sizes?
-
- Actually, I'd be more interested in a tutorial -- what is the tradeoff? Why
- not a HUGE buffer? Does a small buffer make for better xfers? I think you get
- the idea. Also, I have a Supra v.32bis modem, so I'm particularly interested
- in settings for high-speed modems. (But NOT the modem setup; the question is
- about JR-Comm settings).
-
- Post here for others' edification if you like, or just e-mail me ... my mailbox
- has been empty for quite a while :-)
