  23. I'm strongly in favour of the way it's done with !Impression.
  24. This has several text-files in a resource-directory hidden inside
  25. the application-dir.
  26. The thing is, that this approach :
  27. 1) is easy to use for beginners...
  28.    As much as possible of the machine should adjust to the 'country'
  29.    cmos-setting.
  30. 2) enables users like me to have the country set to Norway (for
  31.    alphabetic sorts, time & date etc), but at the same time possible
  32.    to override this setting for certain applications.
  33.    (I have renamed the "UK" text-file under Impression to "norway", but 
  34.    changed kept a lot of things from the original "norway" text, 
  35.    (so that the dictionary understands that "ae" "oe" "aa" (aeo/aa) is letters,
  36.     and that they belong at the end of the norwegian alphabet...)
