- Right now I am running the IBMTOKEN.COM packet driver and the IBM OS/2 LAN Requ
- ester and CUTCP all at the same time all on the same token ring adapter.
- You will first need the OS/2 NTS/2 Beta LAPS disks, they can be gotten from
- 800-IBM-3040 (I see you are international, sorry for the 800 number). This new
- version of LAPS (or NTS/2?) comes with a Virtual IEEE 802.2 driver for DOS
- boxes. Within LAPS I changed the System Key from its default of 0 to 0002 in t
- he OS/2 configuration for IEEE 802.2. Then open the DOS box, and use the comma
- nd C:\IBMCOM\LTSVCFG S=16 C=18 N1=1 D=1. Then load the IBMTOKEN.COM packet
- driver, then load CUTCP, or NCSA, or whatever.
- This Virtual 802.2 looks to be very powerful at allowing OS/2 to share network
- adapter resources with DOS Network packet drivers that are written to 802.2.
