- I've been trying out WINQVT. It is very good compared with NCSA Telnet in most
- areas*, but I'd like to be able to print files from programs (I could simply
- exec LPR.EXE from inside programs before, but not with WINQVT), i.e. the user
- won't be there to press mouse buttons.
-
- I guess I could do something with the windows recorder, but I'd prefer to know
- a way to either call the WINQVT software from other programs, or to use the old
- LPR utilities while some Telnet sessions might be running. Of course, the ideal
- would be to redirect LPT devices to network printers.
-
- If anyone familiar with the program has an easy solution, I'd love to know,
- Mark Aitchison, University of Canterbury.
-
- * the other problems seem to be lack of graphics mode and failure to clear the
- text at the edge of the window sometimes, but I can probably live with those.
