  12. We have had problems with intruders to our network and I have run
  13. the PC Gobbler program to snif up ethernet packets on the local
  14. ethernet segment. With the included software I can look at the
  15. data of tcpip packets, packet by packet, but it is quite tedious
  16. to follow what the intruder typed this way.

  18. Included with Gobbler is a program that dissects the surrounding
  19. ethernet packet and extracts the tcp-ip packet. Unfortunately I have
  20. not been able to decipher the tcp-ip packet manually to extract the
  21. data section.

  23. Could someone please describe the anatomy of a tcpip packet? Or
  24. refer me to a document where it can be found.
