- State University, I would advise that you seek out that guru or one of
- his assistants.

- (1) You do not state where you see this error message, nor which
- software is likely to have produced it.
- (2) Given that your own words are misspelled, I suspect that you have
- not accurately transcribed the error message, either. (While I'm
- sure there are still surviving members of the Handel family, I would
- not expect them to be handling ARP.) :-)
- (3) Ethernet type (hex) 0806 is ARP. (What's an ethernet type ? What's
- ARP ? Go read a textbook; take a networking class or something.)
- (4) The most likely origin of this message is an error in a program, or
- a misconfigured program. It sounds sort of like somebody forgot to
- make provisions for responding to ARP queries.
