- We have a product from UNISYS that claims to be X.400
- compliant but it does *NOT* support DDAs (Domain Defined
- Attributes). This is a problem for us because in some
- cases (such as sending a TELEX) our Packet Switched Data
- Network company, who provides us connectivity to the
- "outside world", requires DDAs be entered in our addresses
- as we compose them on the UNISYS in mail.

- So my question is, are DDAs a required part of the X.400
- mail standard and do the actual specifications call for
- them or are they optional ?
