  11.     We have a product from UNISYS that claims to be X.400
  12.     compliant but it does *NOT* support DDAs (Domain Defined
  13.     Attributes).  This is a problem for us because in some
  14.     cases (such as sending a TELEX) our Packet Switched Data
  15.     Network company, who provides us connectivity to the
  16.     "outside world", requires DDAs be entered in our addresses
  17.     as we compose them on the UNISYS in mail.

  19.     So my question is, are DDAs a required part of the X.400
  20.     mail standard and do the actual specifications call for 
  21.     them or are they optional ?
