- I simply have the problem of *slow* NFS; copying a 10M file to a networked
- drive took about an hour. Using ftp to perform the same transfer
- takes less than a minute. The destination system is convex unix.
-
- I've tried adjusting the buffer size to 1k to no avail; has anybody
- got any other performance tips? Does anybody have anything special
- running on the unix side?
