  22. I simply have the problem of *slow* NFS; copying a 10M file to a networked
  23. drive took about an hour.  Using ftp to perform the same transfer
  24. takes less than a minute.  The destination system is convex unix.

  26. I've tried adjusting the buffer size to 1k to no avail; has anybody
  27. got any other performance tips?  Does anybody have anything special
  28. running on the unix side?
