- Just my own follow-up. Remote TAR freezes reading a specific directory. Local
- tar freezes reading the same directory. The system freezes again when that
- directory is GREPped. So apparently it is a problem in HPFS driver on
- my computer (Ultrastor 12F controller + 660 Mbyte ESDI disk from Seagate).
