- Problem #1: Using a Western Digital SVGA card and using 1024X768X16,
- my monitor falls out of sync when I enter a full-screen OS/2 session.
- "SVGA STATUS" flashes for a brief while and says that my video card has
- a Tseng chipset (My card is a Paradise with WD chips and 1MB VRAM).
- Any ideas?
-
- Problem #2: I cannot get my 2400 baud modem to work in OS/2. I have the
- port on the modem set to COM2- the program hangs and then (as usual)
- when I reboot, I get the swapper-chkdsk nonsense. I have used about
- three or four programs and all hung up the system, not just the session.
- My mouse is set to COM3. I have nothing else on any COM ports.
-
- Problem #3: Is there any wat to start an OS/2 program minimized? The
- notebook does not allow any changes to the settings for OS/2 programs.
-
- Problem #4: Any problems with high speed modems on OS/2? I'm getting a
- 14,400 baud modem soon and I think I should prepare.
-
- Please send me advice- I'm desperate for a solution to this mess.
-
- Thanks,
- Jeff
