  18. I've been fiddling around with this problem for a while. All three
  19. machines I work with were 'infected' one day or another.
  20. The problem appears to be related to the automatic startup of any
  21. kind of application thru any method (startupfolder, automatic restart).

  23. I can only offer a simple, maybe unacceptable for some people, advice:
  24. set RESTARTOBJECTS to STARTUPFOLDERSONLY in config.sys and keep your
  25. startupfolder empty.
  26. I've never had any problems anymore since having configured all three machines
  27. in that way.

  30. still has) despite using this configuration...
