- I would like to set up my os/2 machine so that someone can drag
- and drop a file and have it transferred (by modem using kermit or
- possibly xmodem) to my sparc.
-
- I have been playing with an unregistered version of pmcomm but i'm
- unsure if the scripting would allow this to work. I'm reluctant
- to buy it in the dark, as it were.
-
- I also have been looking at pmftrm (from IBM) but it looks, to me, like the
- scripting is limited to a small number of send/response strings. It this the
- case.
-
- A perfectly good alternative would be to have an icon which, when clicked,
- transferred the entire contents of a folder.
-
- What suggestions do all you gurus have? Is there a nice elegant inexpensive
- way to do this.
