- I suggest disabling the hard disk spin down feature, first. Then
- pester the manufacturer of your notebook to get on the stick and work
- with IBM to release OS/2 power management software. You may also wish
- to report the difficult to IBM using the os2prob.txt form, available
- via anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu, directory /pub/os2/2.0/info.

- IBM's line of notebooks does handle power management issues under OS/2
- much better. I've seen an OS/2 battery monitor applet for the L40SX,
- for example.
