-
- PC MAG top 15 selling software list is based on retail sales. Sales
- to customers direct from a manufacturer (IBM) are not counted. A
- piece of software (OS/2) that is selling mainly direct will have only
- a fraction of its sales counted by PC MAG.
-
- Now OS/2 is starting to be available in stores, and thus sales by
- retailers will start increasing. I could very well be that by
- end of year the sales will have increased to #8 on the PC MAG list.
-
- Is there anyway for PC MAG to count all sales rather than just sales
- at retail locations.
-
- Info about PC MAG sales list from small print at bottom of list.
