- That right folks, my entire root directory dno longer exhists. I can boot
- to dos from the manager, but all of my files are suddenly gone. There is
- nothing in my DELDIR, so I did not do it.
-
- I think my file tabel is corrupted, and since there are no utilities that
- will correct the situation, I must re-install for the 4th time.
-
- If you remember when last we spoke, I was the poor shlep who had three
- desktop directories and can't get rid of them. Well there's always room
- for one more.
-
- Has anyone else experienced a similar sudden loss of data? Something is
- definatedly not right here. I used to really push OS/2 around my halls,
- mostly because of the high standards it was designed upon.
-
- Now I am not so sure these theories have made the transition into an
- elegent package. I am stuck with the HPFS, and do not have a FAT partition
- large enough back up my data to. Why do I feel as if I went to buy a
- Porche, but got an Edsel with a Yugo engine instead??
-
- Any hints, clues, or relative bitches and moans are welcome....
