  11.     That right folks, my entire root directory dno longer exhists. I can boot
  12.     to dos from the manager, but all of my files are suddenly gone. There is
  13.     nothing in my DELDIR, so I did not do it.

  15.     I think my file tabel is corrupted, and since there are no utilities that
  16.     will correct the situation, I must re-install for the 4th time.
  17.  
  18.     If you remember when last we spoke, I was the poor shlep who had three
  19.     desktop directories and can't get rid of them. Well there's always room
  20.     for one more.

  22.     Has anyone else experienced a similar sudden loss of data? Something is
  23.     definatedly not right here. I used to really push OS/2 around my halls,
  24.     mostly because of the high standards it was designed upon.

  26.     Now I am not so sure these theories have made the transition into an
  27.     elegent package. I am stuck with the HPFS, and do not have a FAT partition
  28.     large enough back up my data to. Why do I feel as if I went to buy a
  29.     Porche, but got an Edsel with a Yugo engine instead??
