  11. As a matter of fact, yet... Out here in the real world, we often get beta and
  12. test versions of software.  The last beta before release was available to
  13. specific sites up to 3 months before the software was  on the shelves.  The
  14. point was that Windows 3.1 makes a nice try at what it does, but other than a
  15. slick interface and a wealth of promises, it doesn't come through.  OS/2 does
  16. (at least for the applications and needs that I have)
